Important

The Biometrics fingerprint plugin is REMOVED on account our integration with U.are.U fingerprint reader SDK is not supported on Android devices (specifically Android 12, 13 and 14 with ARM64).

This incompatibility issue exists within U.are.U fingerprint reader SDK owned by HID Global and NOT with Genius Shell or POS.

Genius Branding

  • Updated Shell UI and error handling to reflect Genius branding (Android, iOS, Windows).

  • If user has only one (1) company/site, the Company/Site Selection screen is skipped.

  • Terminal List specifies Terminal ID and Name (both in bold).

  • When user selects a device icon from the Terminal List, connected devices are listed.
