Use Change History to:
View a list of changes.
View the JSON file for the changes.
Compare the changes in the new JSON view to the historical JSON view.
The Change History list displays:
List Header | Description |
|---|---|
Date | Change timestamp. |
User | User name who made the change. |
Source | Application used to make the change. |
Change Type | Change type such as UPDATE or CREATE. |
Type | Entity type from the Genius ecosystem. |
Name | Entity name. |
ID | Entity unique identifier (ID). |
Filter Change History
To filter the Change History list:
From Genius Portal, navigate to → → .
To filter by column, select All, enter the search information into the text field, and select Apply. For the Date column, select All and select the date range from the dropdown.

To filter by site:
From the upper-right, select Site Selector.
From the Site Selector modal, select the sites to include in the list and select Select Site.
Compare Change History
To compare change history:
From Genius Portal, navigate to → → .
From the Change History list, select the Change History row to open the JSON view.
From the upper-right of Change History, select Compare to open the historical JSON view. The new JSON view and the historical JSON view are displayed side by side.
From the JSON views, the new changes are highlighted. From the upper-right, use the arrow keys to scroll up or down.
View Version History
To view a specific version of changes:
From Genius Portal, navigate to → → .
From the Change History list, select the Change History row to open the JSON view.
From the upper-right, select Select Change.
From the Available Changes modal, select the version to view and select View Version.
