Chef Kitchen Management provides a full view of kitchen activities. The kitchen team uses visible cues to ensure product freshness, improve menu consistency, and decrease product waste. The cues also help the kitchen team to increase productivity and efficiency, improving customer satisfaction and additional profits.
Chef populates the Cook List for the kitchen team by referencing previous sales data. Even with only one day of sales data, Chef predicts the needs of newly added menu items such as a Limited Time Offers (LTO) .
To help the kitchen team prepare for the day, Chef anticipates required ingredients and populates the Prep and Thaw screens. Product Build Cards (provided by the Parent Company) ensures that the kitchen team uses the precise recipe for top menu items leading to more accurate and consistent production.
Chef offers real-time information about cooked inventory by communicating with network-connected kitchen equipment. Color-coded displays representing product hold time allows the kitchen team to focus on freshness and order accuracy. The color codes clearly indicate which products to use first and which products have exceeded their hold time.
The optional Chef gamification feature awards points to the kitchen team for tasks performed. Tasks include cooking projected items on time and discarding expired items. Chef displays the kitchen team grade and also provides reporting that allows management to measure the efficiency of the kitchen team throughout the day, week, or month.
